• Summary:The District Church holds casual main worship gatherings Sundays at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM inside Columbia Heights Educational Campus, each running about 80–90 minutes, with Spanish interpretation at the 11:00 service and livestreams/archives on their YouTube channel. A separate Ministry Center and offices at 1225 Otis St NE (about a five-minute walk from Brookland Metro) host District Youth (Sundays 6:00–8:00 PM), counseling, outreach programs, and many Life Groups. The church emphasizes multicultural, city-focused mission, missional living, and multiplying leaders, offering Rooted 10-week discipleship, college ministry dinners and monthly worship nights, and a broad mix of affinity and service opportunities. Children’s programming uses the Orange Curriculum with background-checked volunteers, and families can register or give through Planning Center/ChurchCenter; limited free underground parking is available beneath the school. The community is also engaged in a multi-year RESTORE generosity initiative to fund ministry and renovate a recently donated historic building as part of the church’s long-term vision.
