• Summary:Located in College Heights behind the bus station near the University of Mary Washington (1600 Stafford Ave, Fredericksburg), the church meets Sundays with Sunday School at 9:30 AM, a coffee fellowship called “Cup of Grace” between classes and worship, and a 10:45 AM worship service (in-person and streamed via a Facebook group) that typically concludes by noon. Worship blends traditional hymns and newer choruses led by a Praise Team, includes a weekly Praise & Prayer time, and observes the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday; sermons are expositional (~45 minutes) and available in an audio/podcast archive. Elder-led congregational governance emphasizes Biblical counseling, and Pastor Chris Kropf (M.Div., The Master’s Seminary) has served since 2013 with Elder Cam Rasmussen leading worship; the church teaches a cessationist view of sign gifts and affirms the EFCA statement of faith. With typical Sunday attendance of 100–120, the church offers a secure nursery (newborn–age three), Children’s Church, youth programs (including VBS and monthly youth events), active outreach ministries, online giving via Tithe.ly, and multiple ways to connect by phone or online.
