• Summary:Anderson Chapel AME operates the Marion J. & Alice W. Douse Community Center as an on-site event venue and community hub and also maintains the AC Bookstore. Visitors can join in-person worship or watch live via the church’s Watch Live page, view a recorded welcome video, and connect through the Realm membership portal and active social channels (Facebook, X, YouTube). The congregation offers robust social services — including two Mission Houses for clothing and food assistance, prayer and counseling request forms, conference-call morning prayer, and multiple online giving options — and keeps office hours Monday–Friday for assistance. Young people are welcomed through AGEN (Anointed Generation) with a weekday Blueprint Bible study and opportunities in drama and music, and the church is led by Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Rodrecus M. Johnson, Jr., with First Lady Rev. Ayonna D. Johnson; the congregation was organized in 1964 and dedicated the Douse Center in 2015.
