The recently refreshed sanctuary now features a Welcome Center for coffee and conversation, a Casavant pipe organ, and an active music ministry—choir rehearsals often follow worship, a Gathering Jam Band plays one Sunday a month, and the church hosts summer Lemonade & Hymns on the porch. On-site Ghent United Methodist Preschool (GUMP) is a half‑day Christian program founded in 1992, and the church offers small groups, a Sunday adult Bible discussion at 9:00 AM, a monthly spiritual book group, and a robust Congregational Care team that coordinates prayer, visits, meals, transportation and occasional emergency childcare. Affirming and explicitly welcoming of LGBTQ+ people following the May 2024 UMC change, the congregation prioritizes missions around children, poverty and the environment, maintains a longstanding Military Families ministry, partners with Ohef Sholom Temple for emergency shelter (NEST), and shares sermons, newsletters and updates via social media and the website (office hours Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–12:00 PM).
